With the mandate and support from both the Chinese central and
regional governments, as well as from The China National Youth
Society, Overseas Chinese Scholars Fund (OCSF) was established
in 2001 to provide Chinese Overseas Scholars entrepreneurial resources
from venture capital to professional financing to consulting.
OCSF, founded by 20 overseas Chinese scholars and organizations
is registered in Beijing's Zhong Guan Valley. With it's base of
operations at Beijing's Overseas Chinese Scholars Venture Capital
Center. OCSF is noted as of one the first venture capital firm
to from a limited partnership in China.
OCSF operates under the "venture capital +incubator"
business model, and its management team is composed of many Overseas
Chinese Scholars from countries, such as: USA, Europe and Japan.
The team is composed of experienced advanced degreed professionals
from diverse fields, such as investment banking, project management
and technology development with notable achievement overseas.
They have not only accumulated extensive experience abroad, but
have returned and successfully mastered the local business nuances.
